Helmed by two of streetwear’s most enigmatic figures, CAV EMPT (C.E) is the brainchild of Sk8thing and Toby Feltwell. Sk8thing is responsible for definitive branding and graphics behind seminal brands such as BAPE®, Billionaire Boys Club and Human Made. Feltwell maintains a considerable career, working with Mo’Wax records as well as closely alongside NIGO®. Named after the Latin term caveat emptor (buyer beware), and resembling the Conformité Européenne (CE) imprint, the brand plays with themes of consumerism and conformity.
